This plasmid extraction kit employs a conventional alkaline lysis method and utilizes a DNA-binding column for selective recovery of plasmid DNA. It is designed for processing 50-100 mL fresh E. coli cultures, with a maximum binding capacity of 200-400 μg plasmid DNA. The entire extraction process takes only 20-25 minutes. Plasmid yield depends on factors such as plasmid copy number, host strain, lysis efficiency, and bacterial cell concentration. The purified plasmids are compatible with standard molecuLar cloning workflows, including restriction digestion, PCR amplification, DNA sequencing, and common cell transfection (such as 293T and CHO cells) .  

For lentivirus vector production, our animal-derived component-free plasmid amplification medium (Cat. No. JDM0101) demonstrates superior performance: 300-400 μg of high-yield plasmid DNA can be reliably extracted from 50 mL cultures under optimized conditions ((shaking at 260 rpm, 37°C for 17 h).
