Superior Capture Performance
A panel was designed using Bioligo SmartBaits and LXX’s method to target the coding DNA sequence (CDS) regions of the KRAS, ALK, ROS1, EGFR, and BRAF genes. Under identical conditions, the SmartBaits demonstrated higher enrichment efficiency and better target coverage. This resulted in more effective use of sequencing data and improved sensitivity for detecting genetic variants.

Improved Coverage
Based on a panel originally designed by competitor IXX, Bioligo SmartBaits used its proprietary algorithm to design spike-in probes. These probes specifically targeted difficult, high-repeat regions that were previously left uncovered. This significantly improved both coverage and capture efficiency, allowing for a more complete analysis of the target region and enhancing the reliability of subsequent variant detection.
