BioZues® III Reverse Transcriptase is a genetically engineered version of M-MLV (H-) Reverse Transcriptase with significantly improved thermal stability. It can tolerate reaction temperatures above , making it ideal for reverse transcribing RNA templates with complex secondary structures.

Additionally, this enzyme has an enhanced affinity for its template, which allows it to reverse transcribe small amounts of template and low-copy genes efficiently. It also boasts a significantly improved ability to synthesize full-length cDNA, amplifying products up to 10 kb in length.

To evaluate the sensitivity of BiOligo's (BLG) reverse transcriptase, we performed serial dilutions of viral RNA extracted from the Japanese encephalitis (JE) vaccine. In the standalone sensitivity test, BLG successfully detected RNA at concentrations as low as approximately 10 copies/μL.

When directly compared to Supplier A under the same dilution conditions, BLG consistently produced lower Ct values. Furthermore, it was able to extend the detection limit to lower RNA copy levels. These results demonstrate that BLG reverse transcriptase offers superior sensitivity than the competitor's product.
