The BecuNGS® rRNA Depletion Kit (Plant) utilizes RNase H digestion to remove rRNA (including cytoplasmic 18S, 25S rRNA, mitochondrial 18S, 26S rRNA, chloroplast 16S, 23S rRNA) from total RNA from plant sources to preserve mRNA and other non-coding RNAs. This kit provides good rRNA depletion for both intact and partially degraded total RNA. RNA samples obtained from rRNA depletion can be used for high-throughput sequencing analysis of mRNA and non-coding RNAs (e.g., IncRNA), which can significantly increase the proportion of valid data in sequencing results, and can also be used for cDNA synthesis or other downstream applications.
The recommended input amount for Total RNA is 100 ng-1 μg.
