ASO
  • Antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) are a class of single-stranded oligonucleotide molecules composed of DNA, RNA, or chemically modified analogs. By specifically binding to target RNA sequences, ASOs enable precise regulation of gene expression. Depending on their mechanisms of action, ASOs can modulate gene expression through RNase H-mediated target RNA degradation, splice switching, translation inhibition, or miRNA regulation. ASOs have been widely explored as a therapeutic modality for nucleic acid drug development in areas including genetic disorders, neurological diseases, oncology, and metabolic diseases.

Leveraging a mature solid-phase synthesis platform, comprehensive analytical and quality control systems, and extensive experience in chemical modification development, BiOligo provides customized ASO synthesis services from nmol to kilogram scale. Our platform supports diverse ASO designs, including Gapmer, Mixmer, and splice-switching oligonucleotides (SSO), as well as a broad range of backbone modifications, sugar modifications, and terminal conjugations, accelerating nucleic acid drug development from early screening to validation studies.

Platform Advantages

  • Extensive ASO Modification Expertise:Covers widely used modification strategies in ASO drug development, supporting complex sequences and challenging modification combinations.

  • High Conjugation Efficiency and Batch-to-Batch Consistency:Optimized conjugation processes and deprotection strategies ensure improved purity and consistent yield for long-chain ASO products.

  • Flexible Scale-Up and Manufacturing Capability:Supports multi-stage development needs from early screening to process scale-up, covering production scales from mg to kilogram levels.

  • Comprehensive Technical Support:Provides support for ASO sequence modification recommendations, purification strategy optimization, and process development.
